West Coast Construction Company Website Design and Development

Founded in Seattle in 2000 by two construction industry veterans, the team at BNBuilders have completed projects for companies in a wide range of industries—biotech, healthcare, education, and more. BNBuilders work creative problem solving and sustainable construction practices into every project and are considered one of the West Coast's preferred contractors.

BNBuilders reached out to our team looking for a website equal to the quality of work in their own portfolio and we were happy to deliver.

Website Design Inspiration

To highlight BNBuilders’ roots and dominant presence in the PNW, our team's design opens on a full-screen homepage masthead image of downtown Seattle with a BNBuilders branded crane standing tall above the scene. Other masthead images throughout the site emphasize company culture shots and team photos—these not only grab the eye, they also convey the professionalism of the company and its entrepreneurial spirit.

The logo’s rich red functions as the primary accent color throughout the site and is used as a hover filter for imagery as well as to underscore calls to action. This helps create a sense of brand consistency when moving from page to page in addition to adding visual interest.

The Projects overview page features a responsive grid that showcases the company’s impressive portfolio while the project detail pages feature full-width imagery in masthead sliders that show off the dedicated craftsmanship behind BNBuilders' work.

Website Development Successes

As implied, throughout the project, our team prioritized creating a visually stunning, UX-friendly Projects overview page. Though dense with imagery, “lazy-load” technology allows the page to load quickly across all devices. Top-of-page filtering makes user exploration quick and easy—which is a particularly useful feature for prospective clients and contractors.

The “News and Press” section features similar filtering and gives the BNBuilders team space to share company news on the fly.

Built on efelle’s proprietary and innovative content management system—FusionCMS—the site’s internal architecture allows for quick updates and infinite scalability, allowing the BNBuilders team to add to their portfolio without giving it a second thought. As BNBuilders' reputation for excellence continues to grow—alongside their list of awards received—having a website that can keep up with the company’s success is critical.
