Professional Service Website for Landscaping Company Based in the Pacific Northwest

Kirkland Land Care offers a variety of landscaping services to residents throughout the Puget Sound region. Though they specialize in the commercial sector, they have a rich history of taking on projects of all sizes and delivering eye-grabbing results. With an eye on detail and a passion for providing top-tier customer service, Kirkland Land Care is an in-demand company that continues to grow, now servicing locations throughout the PNW including Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton and Bothell.

Website Design and Development Accomplishments

“Modern” was the primary focus word for this project—Kirkland’s prior website was dated and drab, and they wanted something clean, stylish, and unique.

Drawing inspiration from their recently refreshed logo, we brought in bold greens throughout the website which contrast nicely against bright blue and orange accent colors. But perhaps white is the main character here, as we employed bold and thoughtful use of white/negative space across the entire website to really make the content blocks shine. This use of white space also improves navigability and user flow.

Hard lines, soft scroll animations, and smart hover effects keep users interested as they browse, and reworked site architecture with clear separation between service areas and completed projects makes it easy to discover everything Kirkland has to offer.

A Pinterest-style floating grid on the Projects overview page adds visual interest, with hover text introducing users to each project. Clicking into the detail pages, users will find clear, structured content spaces full of all the relevant information, as well as user-controlled image sliders that lead them through the visual representations of Kirkland’s work.

In addition to the service and portfolio pages, we also created a bright, clean about page template that can easily be leveraged to shared all manners of informational content, custom contact forms, and a blog space to help their team communicate company news.
