eCommerce Website Design for Illinois-based Printer Sales and Service Company on BigCommerce and FusionCMS

Midwest Laser Specialists Inc. is a family-owned and operated printer sales and service business that has been serving the Chicago area for over 30 years. They take pride in providing flexible pricing and delivering faster, more personalized services. This eCommerce website was developed on BigCommerce and FusionCMS, a content management system. By using these two systems, our team was able to create a website that highlights both sides of their business — sales and service/repair.

Project Objectives

For this eCommerce website redesign, we had the following goals:

• Create clean layouts with more negative space
• Use colors from the new logo as muted background colors with image overlays
• Include more vibrant colors on buttons and icons

Website Design

In designing this eCommerce website, our team prioritized the integration of ample negative space to achieve a cleaner and less cluttered feel. We opted for muted logo colors in the backgrounds across the site while employing more vibrant colors for buttons and accents to highlight and emphasize key elements.

Website Build

This eCommerce website was developed using both BigCommerce and FusionCMS, a content management system. BigCommerce served as the platform for product management and sales, while FusionCMS was employed to showcase all company-related and informational pages.
