eCommerce Website Design for Distance Learning School

On Track School is an accredited, private online school that provides flexible education options for students pursuing professional sports or unique lifestyles. With a mission to inspire lifelong learning, they offer personalized support and a curriculum tailored to each student’s needs. Their online learning environment allows students to excel academically while balancing their extracurricular passions. Through this innovative approach, On Track School empowers students to succeed both on and off the track.

Project Objectives

For this eCommerce website redesign, our main goals included:

• Highlighting On Track opportunities outside of school, such as internships, apprenticeships, events, and scholarships
• Emphasizing the "school is cool" message within racing communities through events with a strong focus on community
• Catering the design towards motocross while maintaining the flexibility to adjust details for various other sports
• Incorporating more visuals and videos to explain the nuances of the educational process

Website Design

For the design of this eCommerce website, our design team focused on creating a vibrant and flexible aesthetic that showcases the client's connection to various sports, particularly motocross. The design incorporates bold visuals and dynamic elements to appeal to both students and parents, while still allowing room to feature other sports like equestrian and NASCAR. We highlighted opportunities for students beyond the classroom, such as internships and scholarships, and emphasized the strong sense of community through events like graduations and proms.

Website Build

This website was developed on WordPress, a content management system that offers the flexibility and ease of use needed to regularly update their content. WooCommerce was integrated to power the eCommerce functionality, allowing for the sale of books and merchandise to students and parents. We also worked with them to reset and improve some of their automations, implementing Pabbly for smoother workflows.
