The Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce boasts 169 members supporting the unique, rural community similar to that of the one portrayed on the Northern Exposure TV program. It has interesting, diverse and educational museums for you to enjoy. In addition, the majority of Talkeetna's lodgings are open year-round: from campgrounds and RV Parks, B & B' s and guest cabins, to modern motels and lodges.
Talkeetna, Alaska is a tiny village at the base of Mt. McKinley. The little village is the epicenter of many of Mt. McKinley's great outdoor adventures. The list of fun, daring, and adventurous activities is endless in Talkeetna. If you're not interested in hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, and extreme sports, there are still plenty of great activities and attractions for you to enjoy, including sightseeing tours, great dining, and even Talkeetna's own brewery. About the development of Talkeetna Chamber's new website
