Mason PUD 3’s Website Services 30,000+ Local Customers

Did you know that Washington State has 23 PUDs (Public Utility Districts) that provide electricity for almost 700,000 customers? In addition to electricity, they also provide water, sewer and wholesale telecommunications services. Mason PUD 3 serves Mason County and provides a wholesale fiber optic telecommunications network to support the operation of its electricity system.

Mason PUD 3’s Design & Development Project Specifications

Mason Public Utility Distric 3 approached efelle creative with the goal of finding a Seattle-based website design partner that could give them an updated and responsive online presence to streamline their customers’ payment portal needs and provided relevant service information in an easy-to-find manner.

Mason PUD 3 uses efelle’s FusionCMS website content management system  and its eService Module to organize their information on energy efficiency, conservation incentives, and the applications of solar power. They use FusionCMS’ Event Schedule Module to connect with the local community by promoting and managing local 5k runs and art exhibitions around Mason County, while using the Portfolio Module to highlight past, present, and future civic improvement projects in their communities. Incorporated on their website is a payment portal to simplify the customer bill paying process, and a robust careers section managed using efelle’s Blog Module.
