About Village Concepts

Village Concepts, founded by Bill Brown in 1975, has grown into a trusted network of senior care communities across the Pacific Northwest. Led today by Bill’s grandson, Stuart, the family-owned company remains dedicated to providing nurturing environments that feel like family. Through three generations, Village Concepts has focused on quality care and building strong community connections.

Goals for Redesign

For this website redesign, our main goals included:

• Modernizing the site’s look and feel to create a more engaging, interactive experience
• Clearly explaining services and highlighting amenities to guide users through the senior living journey
• Showcasing the Brown family legacy and unique story to emphasize what sets them apart
• Ensuring visual cohesion across digital and print materials, including custom icons/ illustrations

Website Design & Functionality Highlights

For the design of this website, our design team created a modern, inviting aesthetic that blends clean, interactive elements with a friendly, approachable feel. We incorporated custom icons and illustrations to visually communicate services and amenities, making it easy for users to understand their options at a glance. The layout emphasizes movement and engagement, helping visitors to explore the unique story of the Brown family’s legacy in senior care. By balancing sophisticated design with warmth, we created a look that reflects the welcoming nature of each community.

This website was developed on FusionCMS, a content management system chosen for its user-friendly navigation, allowing the client to easily update and manage content across their 16 locations. We integrated third-party applications like Jotform and Call Rail to streamline lead tracking and user engagement, ensuring a seamless user experience. In addition to the website, we’re updating printed collateral to maintain brand consistency across tour packets and brochures, and we’re supporting the client with ongoing PPC efforts to strengthen their digital presence.
