About Contexture
We had the chance to work on a new website for Contexture, the largest distributor of window treatment and acoustic systems. Contexture is a female-owned company operating primarily in Massachusetts and Florida.
Goals for Website Redesign
For this website redesign, our main goals included:
- Emphasize the new branding and new brand name (formerly Ver-Tex)
- Use an off-set layout instead of the traditional grid without white space
- Increase the feeling of “movement” on the site
Website Design & Functionality Highlights
The design of this website needed to feel more unique than the traditional grid format. Contexture didn’t want too much white space so we used an off-set layout throughout. Our graphic design team also helped ensure that the launch of their new branding and logo was incorporated throughout the redesigned website.
The website’s design also includes more movement to make things a bit more interesting as the user scrolls.
This website was developed on FusionCMS, a content management system. This allowed for a fully custom site that featured services, employees, careers, locations, and news updates. It is also easy for their team to use when updates are needed.
