New Law Firm Website for MacDonald Hoague & Bayless is Now Live

We Recently Completed Logo, Design, and Development Work for a Seattle-Based Immigration and Civil Rights Law Firm

Since 1952, MacDonald Hoague & Bayless has been fighting to secure civil, employment, and immigration rights on behalf of its clients. With a rich history of winning groundbreaking cases in an impressive array of fields, the firm—based out of Seattle—has proven itself a force to be reckoned with.

When we first met up with their team, they were looking for their new website to be fresh, approachable, and professional. It was a joy to join them on this project both for the excellent work they provide to the community and because we love supporting other local Seattle businesses.

Design and Development Successes

The design process began with a logo tweak. We refreshed this brand asset by swapping its former rust red with a modern teal. As we moved onto the homepage design, we paired this hue with a variety of gray-toned neutrals and opted for a subdued charcoal as the primary text color.

We also helped rejig the website’s flow to generate a more cohesive user journey between pages. A comprehensive main navigation menu gives users a quick glance of all of MHB’s primary areas of service while the service overview page itself features a clean grid design that comes alive with imagery and eye-grabbing hover effects.

One of the most enjoyable areas of this site to design and develop was the History page. Featuring a dynamic slider of all the firm’s major milestones, it’s both fun to click through and enlightening to read.

On a whole, we completed design and development for a variety of pages, including (but not limited to) the visually striking homepage, the service areas, the filterable “Major Cases” and “News” pages, the history page, and more.
