Homer, Alaska’s Ulmer’s Drug & Hardware first opened in 1954 in what is now downtown Anchorage. Over the next 20 years, Ulmer’s grew into several locations and by the mid-1970's, Eldon's son had diversified the company by adding hardware and sporting good departments. In the years since they’ve continued their expansion, adding a power tool rental division and a fabric department that’s one of the region’s most popular. To this day their company philosophy is “the only thing we sell is service.”

Ulmer’s Drug & Hardware came to efelle looking to create a professional, service-oriented web presence that displayed store information for customers and showcased various products and services in an easy-to-find manner.
