Specialized Law Firm BDOU Has A Brand New Website!
The team at Bergman Draper Oslund Udo has been fighting to protect the interests of families facing challenges of mesothelioma for over 25 years. As experts in their field, their goal is to make clients feel comfortable during a stressful time and help them get the results they deserve.
Logo Redesign
The team at BDOU wanted a new website and branding initiative to be reflective of the firm’s credibility and expertise. Starting from the bottom and building up, we started with refreshing their logo. This included changing the font to be bolder and creating a more modern mountain design.
Law Firm Web Design
For the team at Bergman Draper Oslund Udo, it was really important for them to build trust with their clients so they know that they’ll be taken care of when choosing BDOU. Throughout the entire design as well as the homepage we include case winning statistics, client testimonials both in text and video, and an easy path to connect with the BDOU team.
With their audience in mind, we created a sitemap that included a “Why File,” section of the site and included information to help users understand why they should consider a lawsuit and even gave them a preview of what the litigation process is like so they know what to expect.
Throughout the design, we included a few cohesive calls to action, most prominently the “Free Case Evaluation” button throughout the site. This was done to let users know that BDOU will help them decide if it’s worth it to file a claim before they do, building trust with the user right away. We also included “Share this Page” icons all over the site, making it clear and easy for people to share with others. This was done for with the idea that there were probably family members researching for their parents or loved ones and BDOU wanted to easily help them share the information.
Website Development
One of the unique things about BDOU is that they maintain a proprietary database of over 1,000 manufacturing plants, public facilities, military bases, and shipyards that they know contain asbestos. They wanted this to be easily found by users on the site. We created a Resources section that allows users to search for job sites by sorting by state and city for users to find out if their job site is on the list. On the backend, as the BDOU team learns more, they’re easily able to add more job sites and can tag the location and it’ll automatically be sorted on the front end.
Throughout the different asbestos and mesothelioma pages, LawFirmFusionCMS automatically pulls in blogs and news tagged specifically to the accompanying pages at the bottom.
One of the most impressive pages is the Settlements & Verdicts page, which lists the victories in mesothelioma cases from their clients. As BDOU continues to win more cases, they can add to this list in the CMS using a simple WYSIWYG which will automatically update to be sorted in descending order.
